K-Light Terms of Use & Digital Product License

Welcome to K-Light. By accessing this website or purchasing and downloading any digital product from K-Light, you agree to the following terms.
1. Digital Products
K-Light provides digital music production products, including drum packs, sample packs, audio loops, percussion elements, stems, and other downloadable audio content.
All products are delivered digitally. No physical products will be shipped unless explicitly stated otherwise.
2. Royalty-Free License
When you purchase a K-Light sample pack or drum pack, you receive a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the included audio files in your own original music productions and audiovisual projects.
You may use the sounds in:
- Commercial and non-commercial music releases
- Songs and instrumental productions
- Film, television, advertising, and online content
- Games and multimedia projects
- Live performances and DJ productions
- Client productions and commissioned music
You may edit, process, arrange, layer, mix, and otherwise creatively modify the sounds as part of your own production.
No additional royalties are owed to K-Light for permitted uses under this license.
3. What Is Not Allowed
Purchasing a K-Light product does not transfer ownership of the original audio files or sound recordings to you.
You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, or give away the original audio files
- Upload the original files to sample libraries, sample-sharing platforms, stock audio libraries, or similar services
- Include the original files, whether individually or substantially unchanged, in another sample pack, drum pack, sound library, or production toolkit
- Claim ownership or authorship of the original K-Light recordings
- Make the original files available for download or extraction by third parties
The sounds must be incorporated into a larger creative work or production rather than redistributed as standalone production assets.
4. Individual Percussion Elements
Where a product includes individual percussion elements in addition to full groove loops, these files are provided to give producers greater flexibility over mixing, processing, arrangement, and sound design.
The same royalty-free license and redistribution restrictions apply to both the full grooves and the individual percussion elements.
5. Intellectual Property
All original K-Light products, recordings, branding, artwork, product names, and associated materials remain the intellectual property of K-Light and/or their respective rights holders.
Purchasing a product grants you a license to use the included sounds under these terms; it does not transfer copyright or ownership of the source recordings.
6. Digital Downloads & Delivery
Digital products are normally made available after successful payment.
If you experience a technical problem accessing your purchased files, please contact K-Light using the contact information available on this website.
We will make reasonable efforts to restore access or provide the purchased files to the email address associated with the order.
7. Refund Policy
Because K-Light products are digital downloadable goods, purchases are generally considered final once the files have been delivered or made available for download.
If you experience a duplicate charge, corrupted file, missing product, or another genuine technical problem with your purchase, please contact K-Light so the issue can be reviewed and resolved.
Nothing in these terms limits any refund, cancellation, or other consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
8. Showcases and Free Downloads
Certain K-Light showcases, stems, demos, or other materials may be offered free of charge.
Unless a different license is specifically provided with the download, free downloadable production materials may be used in original creative productions but may not be resold, redistributed, repackaged, or presented as your own original sample library.
Streaming or preview-only material does not automatically grant permission to download, sample, redistribute, or commercially exploit the underlying recording.
9. Third-Party Services
The K-Light website may use or link to third-party services for payment processing, streaming, file delivery, social media, or other functionality.
Use of those services may also be subject to the respective provider's terms and privacy policies.
10. Changes to These Terms
K-Light may update these terms from time to time as products, services, or legal requirements change.
The version published on this website at the time of purchase will govern the license associated with that purchase unless otherwise required by applicable law.
